Information Means
One of the aims of the European Water Association is the information of its members. This is done through several
means, mainly based on modern media:
- Publications
Reports, conference proceedings, and studies.
- E-WAter
Interesting articles from the water sector, published every two months on the EWA homepage. In addition there are
links to the journals of some National Member Associations.
This online journal is the follow-up of EWA's former printed journal "European Water Management" which was closed down
at the end of 2001.
- European Water Management News (EWMN)
News from the European and international water sector, issued via a
weekly e-mail news service.
- European Water Pollution Control Network (EWPCN)
Background documents on water pollution control issues such as EU Directives,
working documents, project reports, newsletters can be found on the European Water
Pollution Control Network (EWPCN). The information is available as references or
downloadable documents.
- The EWA Bulletin and Annual Reports
Detailed information on the EWA work, meetings, new members, events, publications, etc.
issued two times per year.
- The EWA Yearbook
EWA Yearbook 2003 with detailed information about the members as well as basic statistic data from the water
sector of nearly all member countries.
- Press Releases
Press releases issued by the EWA since 2001.
