Membership within the European Water Association

The European Water Association offers two ways of membership, the National Membership and the Commercial Membership. Individual membership is not possible.

National Membership - your benefits

Through its activities and different committees the EWA provides a forum for discussion and exchange of knowledge and experience between national experts on a European level.

The Association also promotes relationships with other European and international organizations with similar professional interests.

Through the national representatives in the Council the members receive:

· Latest information and technical papers from the European Commission

· Information on the preparatory work for European standards from the CEN Technical Committees

· Technical information about the EWA members countries and their national associations

· Access to the European Water Management News (an electronic journal with a weekly publishing frequency)

· Assistance and support in the organization of conferences as well as their promotion and announcement to an interested audience

· Members will also benefit from co-operation with other international associations such IWA (International Water Association), WEF (Water Environment Federation), EUREAU (European Union of National Associations of Water Suppliers and Waste Water Services) and JSWA (Japan Sewage Works Association)

· Members of your national association will receive a discount on conference and seminar fees (is a matter of negotiation with our national associations)

· Members can participate and contribute to the technical and scientific work and other activities organized by the different Committees and Task Groups

Commercial Membership - your benefits

Commercial Membership is open to European commercial companies, utilities and research organisations that operate in the European water sector. There are two different membership categories with different benefits, Sponsor Members and Corporate Members.
